| Growing up Dallas-Ft.Worth,
I was surrounded by the city. Then with one car ride on a pleasant foggy
December day, I transported and transplanted my whole existence, as
I knew it. I found myself in the desert, an immensely beautiful place,
and there I lived and worked for over a decade. The revelations I experienced
in the desert about the ideas of relationships, similarities, differences
and contracts has had an significant influence on my art. While working
at the Big Bend National Park, I was able to observe the real beauty
of nature and found my endless source of inspiration. |
